Birth control pills don't stop ovulation, they just make the uterus inhospitable to fertilized eggs trying to implant. A woman stops ovulating when she completes menopause.

Person? Hello? Women ovulate..and why would you want to stop? It's a beautiful change like the seasons and eventually it will end like everything else..but why not enjoy being a woman? I'd rather ovulate than be a man any day...and birth control pills only temporarily stop this process...ovulation can only be stopped with ovaries being taken out..
