I'll just keep this short and simple.
There is NO unforgivable sin. period.
IF, suicide is a sin, it is only a sin.
Good question was about suicide. Yes, according to Hebrews 11:32 - Samson who is one of the heroes of the faith and committed suicide was with the lord.
You don't go to hell for sins, and NObody can show in the bible that you can.
YOU only go to hell for one reason.
End of story.
Good Q*.

Now don't go doing anything like that, you hear. If you feel suicidal then talk to someone about it. I know, as much as you, that this world can be very cruel. It gets boring and it's so routine, but it doesn't mean we have to end it. We are all here for a purpose. Now, it might not make itself clear immediately but there is some reason to each of our existence. Trust me, I feel like my life is crap many times and I too think of taking a nice long nap, but I don't, along with everyone else. Each day is a different day, although it might seem like a replica of yesterday. Think about it; this day, this minute, this second will be the only one, so don't waste it away by thinking of suicide. But to your question, no. I don't think God will solely judge you on the last minute of your life. Why would he send someone who was a good person, all their life, to hell? I think that he understands each of our situations and because of it, is better able to judge us. He knows how we feel and why we do what we do and I don't think he'll be too harsh on someone who was a victim of this worlds transgressions.

God grants mercy to some and justice to others; no one gets injustice. God can never be unfair. He can certainly do things that aren't to your liking, but He is never unfair. If you have ever once in your life broken any one of God's commandments -- or even thought about it in some cases -- a holy and righteous God should punish you for that sin. Murder is included in that list. He said from the outset that those were the rules; He's been very clear about that. Everyone deserves hell. It can't possibly be unfair to send people where they deserve to be sent. That's the truth and it is bad news.
Now, there is good news, too. Honest! That's why God sent Jesus to take our punishment, to die in our place. Jesus did that. To become forgiven, you need to trust in Him as your Lord and Savior. God sees your heart and hears every one of your thoughts; He can't be fooled or mocked. After you've told Him you trust Him, you also need to repent of your sins (turn away from them permanently) and follow Him. Give your whole life to Him. Ask Him to direct you and to give you peace. He may or may not change your outward circumstances, but when you throw yourself onto His mercy (can't dabble in following Him, that will never work -- it has to be all or nothing for God) He will give you peace that the world can't understand.
If you're already a Christian and you've fallen into the temptations of depression and suicidal thoughts, please write me. I've been there, too, and have come shining out the other side by His grace. There is hope, truly. You can email me by clicking on the name under the grey smiley box over there.

Yes, serious this is.
No, you do not go to hell for killing yourself. The self murder or suicide is not the unpardonable sin.
Sin however is very serious in God's sight. Murder is a sin just like any other. If it is your desire to go to heaven and that is the reason you are concerned, then you must ask your self, why do I want to disobey God and sin by killing myself. God allows hell on earth to test our character. God will always give you the grace to live through whatever comes your way. He even gives the grace to accept death as the doorway that leads to life. Persevere and do not waver in your commitment to live.
Shalom

Yes, you would go to hell, because it expresses the sin of despair. It is to so doubt God's goodness, and the inherent goodness of one's life, even if it is personally painful, that one presumes to "know better" than God, of the role that that life can play. Where would humanity be, if someone like, say, Joan of Arc, or George Washington (or others that you may think of, who you think of as heroes), had said, "Aw, heck, this is just too difficult! Ah'm gonna end it all raight now....!" ??
Aside from the theological question, it is also an expression of cowardice, which we should all try to avoid. It is also a form of sadism towards the living, for they have no way of bringing you back, of trying to help with your problems, etc. They are left with a great big "hole" in their lives and many unanswered questions. It is the ultimate selfish act. Please -- if you are contemplating it -- get help!! Don't do it!!!
God gave us reason, and free will, to change things around us; to change our country, and to change our fellow citizens. Besides, what Heraclitus said is true: "Nothing is constant but change."

Okay from an Islamic perspective....This life is all about tests. A blessing can be a test, and tests can be a blessing. No one's life is perfect, we all go through our fair share of tribulations. God's just testing us to see how strong our faith is. You see it's human nature to only remember God when we're going through a tough time, but we forget God when life is all good.
Surah Al Baqara verse 155: And be sure We shall test you with some fear and hunger, some loss in goods, or lives, or the fruits (of your hard work), but give glad news to those who patiently persevere.
And every life is considered sacred, which is why it's a sin to commit suicide.

No you don't go to hell if you are saved! Jesus said that all manner of sin and blasphemy would be forgiven among men except blasphemy against the Holy Ghost which is a sin which can't be committed in this day and age as the circumstances under which it can be committed simply don't exist any more. We all go over speed bumps in our lives and you are not alone in this. Remember whatever the problem its not too big for the Lord to handle as once you have committed it to him then he will handle it for you.

If you are saved and decide to take your life, you still go to be with the Lord, but you miss out on what God has planned for you here and in turn lose out on certain blessings God has waiting for you here and in Heaven. I'm not sure why you are asking this but if this is about you, let the Lord in on your "living Hell" so He can turn it around and make a living sacrifice (not a dead one) and testimony out of you!!! God is good.

Please get help. Go to a suicide hotline. Speak to a concerned person you may know like a clergyman, a social worker, a friend, a parent - someone who will listen & try to help.
Depression is very difficult. Like can be difficult. But suicide is the most selfish of all acts. Think how your family will feel. They will never forgive themselves. They will feel like they are in hell forever.
Go to a hospital - GET HELP NOW!!!
