Thru-out the Bible, Prophets speak of the Lord's Day, or the Day of the Lord, [same thing], which by all decrees is yet to happen. And for Pete's sakes, don't argue it means, Sunday; Grow up.
The writer of Revelation, [John] clearly affirms that he was.."in the spirit on the Lord's day....". Now, how many MATURE CHRISTAINS agree that the book of Revelation revels things that WILL happen yet future, given the fact that John was taken in spirit to the Lord's day and told to write things that are and things which shall be hereafter.
Let me help a bit; Joel 1:5 " Alas for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as destruction from the ALMIGHTY shall it come". Amos 5: 18 " Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you?" Malachi 4:5 "Behold I will send Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord".
Anyone that say's that all happened in the year 70 A. D.,must really get off the milk bottle and start eating meat.

Judgment certainly happened for the Jews at the hands of the Romans in 70 AD.

There were even reported signs in the heavens, strange actions on the part of the Romans, and the expected departure by Christians, before Jerusalem was encircled.

Do you deny that God used the Romans to crucify his son? Why not then, use the Romans to destroy the Jews who demanded Jesus' death at their hands?

As for Elijah, any one of the apostles could have acted in his role, just as John the Baptist did for Christ.

This doesn't rule out a future fulfilment, either.

It's quite possible that the last days of anti-christ will extend from Pentecost to early September, the same amount of time it took the Romans to destroy Jerusalem and the Temple.

Multiple fulfilments are routine in biblical prophesy.

I agree this seemed more like a comment than a question... rather a challenge... but he does make sense in what he says; I do agree. I only suggest that he does not come out in a matter that may be as provocative to people.
