If the first man Adam was simply allegorical, what about the "last Adam" Jesus Christ?

The first Adam is a real individual, and not at all allegorical.

Adam and his personal sin are the only reason mankind needed a redeemer.

Which brings us to Jesus, the New Adam, who succeeded everywhere that the original Adam failed, and who redeemed mankind in the process.

A logical answer cannot follow, because your premise is faulty to begin with. Who says the first Adam was only allegorical?
