The Law of Entropy seems to go against this idea of recycling.

It's not about entropy, it's about greenhouse gasses and the energy required to recycle as opposed to using new raw materials. The transportation of goods to be recycled and the energy used in the recycling process are at least equivalent to the energy used in mining and making aluminum cans and/or cutting down trees and turning them into paper. Generally the only net advantage to recycling is reducing the space needed in landfills and leaving more areas in their natural state.

I agree, I have reviewed a lot of research on this subject. If everything they say is true, it is more harmful for the environment for us to recycle.

id say good as recycling saves lots of energy not to mention less pollution in making a new item*edit like this guy said "leaving more areas in their natural state." is one of the keys i like that " as for the showtime girl comon what is that? yeah i could do that i do it 25% here in upstate ny glass-paper-plastic metal are seperate . as far as recycling 100% of your waste id love to see that cause thats what there doing

Well recycling allows us to reuse materials whereas if we didn't we would continue to waste limited resources and our dumps would just get bigger.

recycling uses more energy than it saves it is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.
