Yes, especially if you read the beginning of Job it'll become more clear to you. It talks about how all the sons of God met and then, suddenly, here comes Satan. He thinks he's all bad you know and God asks him something like, "Where did you come from?" and Satan responds, "oh, coming to and fro from earth." And then God tells him, "Then you've met my good servant Job?" He then brags about how good Job is and, well, you know the rest. It's kinda funny because while all the other planets are represented by the good servants of the lord, here we are represented by the worlds worst deceiver. We are considered so unpure that God will never allow us to meet up with the other inhabitants of the universe, we know they're out there but because God doesn't want them to learn our ways, we won't meet them until the second coming, when his faithful followers are accepted to live in his everlasting kingdom.

The apostle Paul associates Satan with “the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places,” and he speaks of them as “the world rulers of this darkness.” (Eph 6:11, 12) As a governing force in the invisible realm immediately about the earth, Satan is “the ruler of the authority of the air.” (Eph 2:2) In Revelation he is shown to be the one “misleading the entire inhabited earth.” (Re 12:9) The apostle John said that “the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” (1Jo 5:19) He is therefore “the ruler of this world.” (Joh 12:31) That is why James wrote that “the friendship with the world is enmity with God.”—Jas 4:4

God gave dominion over the earth and everything on it to Adam.
Adam traded it all away to Satan for the knowledge of good and evil.
That's how Satan came to be the ruler of this world, and also how Satan managed to enslave Adam and Eve, who still had to live here.

Yes. The word clearly says that satan is the little god of this world. As soon as ADAM took the fruit and ate of it, he and eve now came under satan's authority. (They were under God's authority first). Satan's authority included spiritual death and eventually physical death because they were banished from the garden and the Tree of Life was now off limits and that wouldv'e kept them alive forever if they could eat from it forever. Now satan is temporarily ruling but only for a short time. All satan had to do was to get them to break the one and only law in the garden. The law was to not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The only way now to be reconciled back to God is to accept the free gift of Jesus's death for us.

No...Adam had dominion over the animals.
Satan doesnt rule anything...remember in the book of Job when Satan had to get God's permission to curse Job?
Satan is already defeated.

Yea more or less
Through Adams sin, Satan gained ownership (title) of this world.
Christ redeemed (bought the deed back) the world, but has not taken possession of it yet!

ADAM AND EVEN IN EDEN
Gen.2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Gen.2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: Gen.2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Gen.2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Gen.2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Gen.2:20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. Gen.2:21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; Gen.2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Gen.2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Gen.2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
