The whole world takes God's name in vain and Jesus Christ is not revered anymore, yet, when a picture of Allah is displayed there's hell to pay.

Just for you clarity, Allah is God and cannot be comprehended with any of the human sences. The human mind can't grasp the reality of God. He is beyond the physical, the meta physical and all things in the creation. Thus, a picture of God is impossible becasue God is beyond site and everything else. So you must be referring to (pictures) of Muhammad which is a prophet of God, (in Muslim belief) and we equate him with Jesus, Moses,Abraham, Lot, Jerimah, Issac, Ismael, and all the other prophets. But we only worship Allah, which is Arabic for God since the Quran was revealed in Arabic. But we believe in the Old and New Testment and regard the Quran as the Final Testment. We do not want to have or protray pictures of Muhammad becasue that process over serval years leads to idol and worship. And we are only supposed to concentrate on his actions and not how he looked.

you know, they have hacked their religion to pieces so much so that the shell they left would not be recognizable by Isa [as].they have been made into sheep.helpless sheep.the non religious have conquered them.they cant stand up for anything now.where was the outrage when the catholic priests were having their way with little children?and we know now that the heads of the church knew all about it.no protest.they cant even pray in school anymore.no protest. but they are quick to say "this is christian country".they blaspheme their God in movies and books.no protest.they ve turned into chumps.not worthy of lifting even a finger in defense of their beliefs.so they get on Y.A. and sound off on the Muslims instead.cause they have been deprived of intestinal fortitude.dig what im sayin?no balls.so let them sit back and watch their religion being dismantled in front of their eyes.Islam is filling the void anyhow.

Because the Christian God(which is the same God, The Jews wait for the Messiah(Isaiah 53) so they can reject Him, Christians believe that the Messiah has already come and was rejected, and the Muslims believe that the Messiah is not the Messiah but a Prophet) teaches us to be humble. And that to be proudful is something that God hates. The Muslims are a proud religion.

???? Why would we have to take ourselves in arms. Jesus may not be revered but, Jesus didn't save himself from the cross. If Christ is love why should we fight like that. Ours is not a battle of the body. What does taking arms prove? Religions have tried that before including Chrisitanity. What does that prove? That by fear we can recruit. But the fear of God in them. What kind of question is that? I would not want to be a Christian then. Violence does not prove anything but violence. Learn from past mistakes.

i have yet to see a picture of Allah, but I know when Muhammad is portrayed in a picture Muslims are offended. The reason being is that Muslim do not worship muhammed, hence drawing a picture of him would be a form of idoltary. We worship Allah, Muhammad was just his messenger. Therefore picture of Muhammed = Idoltary = forbidden in Islam. Thats from my understanding.

The church is now sleeping and squabbling over its differences in denominations. It is quite sad. We should be very vehement about the Lord's name being used as a curse word and when others spit or kill Christians because their beliefs are different. I in no way advocating being coming militant and violent but the Christian church really needs to wake up now instead of when tragedies occur or political debates/laws arise.

something imaginary shouldn't be worshiped, but if you need that to be happy then by all means do so. Also you have the same obligation to give others the right to be happy even if that means with different views. You can whine and cry all you want if certain people single your "God" out but it probably won't get you anywhere and you will be viewed negatively by the country if not the whole world. Good luck with the hatred of man kind. =)

hahahaha!! OK i really dont know how educated you are, but almost every one heard of the crusades, the Spanish inquisition, and the current so called "war on terror" and not to mention the vigilant christian militias in Africa (the Lord Army) that kills Muslims left and right in the name of Jesus.
