You might not have sufficient lubrication, or it might not be viscous enough to hold the lens in place -- the lens rests on a layer of fluid, not the eyeball itself.

Try a wetting solution or artificial tears and see if it helps.

I have that issue sometimes.... usually because it is dirty or has excess protein buildup. clean them good & try again.
