Cocaine is a crystalline tropane alkaloid that is obtained from the leaves of the coca plant. Cocaine is definately a stimulant. Narcotics make you relax, sleepy, they slow everything down. Stimulants make you feel fast, quick, wide awake ie: caffeine, ephedra, cocaine.
