Good and cheap don't go together. Try Glen Fiddich 12 year old single malt. Macallan is also really good.

Not under $20 (I seriously can`t think of a good Scotch whisky under $20), but in the $20 range. I`d recommend Famous Grouse. It is a blend, but it includes The Glenrothes, Highland Park Single Malt and Macallan Single Malt, which are some of the finest Highland/Speyside single malts you can buy. It's smooth and very much a better blend than Johnny Walker Red. I prefer it to Chivas.

There is no such thing. A cheap Scotch is not good. Try Glenfiditch (sp?) or Glen Morangie (sp?).
