It really doesn't make any difference as long as you are both adults. My son's are both married to older women the older son's wife is 15 years older and the younger son's wife is 12 years older. Some women like older or younger men. Myself I always like men within 10 years of my own age.

The best man is the one who you can fall in love with. But he should not be much older or younger of you, just about your age. Difference in age is too bad, I just know this from my own experience.

30-40 maybe? It's not all about age though. It depends on his and your level of maturity and whether or not you want the same things out of life.

some would say 28 to 40,however it really depends on the person,as well as what you expect from the person.
I would hope actually your age group would not discount someone my age.
