For the first time I drank vodka (before I drank beer and that is also only twice in my whole life). The vodka I bought was 37.5% alcohol and 350ml bottle. I drank three quarter of the bottle staright away from the bottle and still I did not feel drunk or even slightly drowsy. Thats like 10 units. Am I alcohol resistant. How many do you drink to go out of control?

My friends say it is amazing

Read the question people!! This person obviously doesn't have an alcohol addiction if they have only drunk it three times in their life so far!!!

Either you were buzzed enough not to feel it, or you don't get buzzed from vodka. I have heard about some people not getting a buzz from this or that type of alcohol. I wouldn't worry about becoming an alcoholic as a result because they generally drink to get the buzz. What I would worry about is if you drink enough the alcohol can build up in your body to toxic levels and kill you, but it usually takes a lot more than one 350ml (unless you're allergic to something in it). For example, one of my friends almost died from two shots of tequila, because he had an allergic reaction to it. Basically, if you don't get a buzz from vodka, I would try something else unless you really like the taste of it. In any case, be responsible and use common sense about alcohol, but don't go paranoid. I hope this helps.

First off drinking is something you not take lightly. Results of alcohol abuse include injury to others and yourself. To your question - tolerances vary among people according to many factors such as height and weight and even your genetic composition or your gender. It's possible you experienced an initial resisitance to the alcohol so you did not feel affected. Tolerance for alcohol tends to increase with time. A few beers might get someone drunk at age 17 but at age 30 it may take a case. Get all the facts and drink responsibly.

No person is alcohol resistant. That much alcohol is dangerous and you can drink yourself sober but you are in danger. At the point you were at you could have gotten alcohol poisoning and could have had a complete shut down of your kidneys and liver.
I don't think it is amazing. I think it is stupid to put yourself in danger. Get help for your alcoholism.

That's kind of scary you could get alchohol poisoning. I've got it from vodka before and it's not very fun at all.Personally i don't think if you've just only drank two beers before you should'nt be drinking that much hard liquor. You may ruin your liver drnking like that.

Yes, it's amazing that you survived it! Hey, don't get too worked up about this amazing ability.....you'll be headed down the path to doom. Your supposed non-reaction to this quantity of alcohol is no feather in your cap......STOP IT NOW!!!!! I had two friends who thought they were so smart and immune to the effects of alcohol....both died after ingesting less than you did. I had the great misfortune to live with two alcoholics in my lifetime (my Dad and a Husband), both drank themselves to death and it was drawn out and painful. There is no glamour about alcohol abuse.

man have fun and forget what all the old farts are sying about being responsible. Yes dont be stupid and hurt yourself, but that doesnt mean your an alcoholic or that you have to stop drinking. Golly i hate it when people ask legitimate questions about alcohol and ten people respond preaching their views about alcohol. Go out, have fun. But dont die.

Alcohol impairs judgement. Maybe you were so drunk you were unaware that you were drunk. That is the reason why people drive drunk.
