How about having faith in yourself? So much of what the bible says supports that, don't you think?

You and Jesus are the same - divine people of spirit on the physical plane.

Peace!

what one needs to have faith in is that Jesus has the authority to bring you close to God.. So you have to have some idea that He actually has that authority and then trust Him to use it for your benefit. He says He will do the deed for you if you ask believing He is that life that can and will forgive your sins thereby removing the barrier between you and God. One must continue to do this everyday or you build the barrier back up. He will if you let him assist you to not rebuilding that barrier, giving you new strength every time you come to Him and repent and ask forgiveness and have the desire to do better tomorrow.

For some the original amount of power received by putting off their load is great and they can with the power received, walk in a manner not rebuilding the barrier very fast and occasional influxes of that pwer coming less regularly when they confess and when they pray. Some are out there, brick in hand early the next day beginning to rebuild that wall, and if they were taught the once saved always saved doctrine the way some teach it (without regard for the greek tense in the action of salvation) then they slide right back to where they were and now they are also arrogant. Not sure exactly what happens if they die in that state.

As long as one is convinced that Jesus is an actual historical figure, it doesn't require faith to believe he is "the son of Man." There are some people who *would* argue that believing he is an historical figure is an act of faith.

Nobody can believe Jesus is the Son of God without faith.

Jesus was both Son of God and son of man.Jesus was brought into this world naturally through a woman (Mary)and Jesus Father was God.Thus
son of man and Son of God.[man/God] Jesus was the only SINLESS man on earth other than Adam BEFORE HE SINNED.

Joh 10:30 I and my Father are one.

Your faith should be that God is really alive as the trinity and that his son, Jesus, came to earth years ago to died for you and the world. And in having faith in god, which is a tremendous faith in something you cannot see, you should believe the bible and be against evolution theories. This might help you. Faith:is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

A person needs to have faith in the fact that Jesus is the literal son of God AND our Redeemer. It is through His atoning sacrafice that we are given the promise of eternal life(either in Heaven or Hell) according to the choices we make. God didn't make us robots- He gave us the power to think and act for ourselves! It's called free agency; we will be held accountable for the choices we make.He also gave us an invitation ,through His Son,Jesus Christ, to return to Him. The directions on how to do this are found in the HOLY SCRIPTURES. May God bless and keep you...........quizkid

To have faith in God as their Creator and that Jesus came to save him or her from their own sinful thinking--so yes the Son of God. It is all about trusting God as his/her source instead of trying to do things on their own and think they are in control of everything. What person can decide to be born or truly decide to die with only their thoughts?

A person can have faith in anything he/she believes to be true. Catholics mainly believe that
Jesus is the son of God and died on the cross
for our sins and also that if we believe he is our Savior, we shall go to heaven and all of our sins
will be forgiven. But, you have to try to be a good boy, while you're still here!

Yet, somehow, you're not expected to question the ridiculousness of how a being can be the son of a god and the son of a mortal woman.... boggles the mind...
