No that is false. I donated for years and it never effected me. I recently started back and I haven't felt any change.
YOu could feel weak right after giving blood but it will not harm you and is beneficial in that you get a your blood pressure checked free.

No, it is not true that you gain weight when you donate blood. The only thing I can think of besides what has been said already is that after you give blood they usually give you something to drink and something sweet to get your blood sugar back up.

I have donated several times and the only reason why I have gained weight is the foods I eat! :)

No it quite is not actual. in case you're underweight, have low iron or blood stress they gained't permit you donate. you incredibly lose a great variety of energy once you donate blood, its healthful because of the fact it makes your physique produce clean blood. in case you % to income weight pass on a intense protein eating habitual.

No; it's not true. I worked at the Red Cross as a phlebotomist for several years. This is just a crazy myth.
