where is the gas override switch for a 98 ford escort?

It is behind the kick panel on the driver's side on the four door model, that is left of the driver's footwell area. There should be a little round removable plug that has fuel shutoff switch printed on it, right below the fuse box.

I think it's in the trunk on the right side. that's where it was on my tracer..............check our owners book if you still have it
