rightio, basically before the last few months my long hair (2/3 way down my back) was poker straight naturally and even when it got damp/wet it would stay straight. yet recently my hair especially when wet/damp seems to be going vaguely curly? is there any reason for this or has it happened to anyone else?

heat styling n chemicals cause this
if nt, ur hair has dried or damaged as the cuticle has damaged...by water!! or shampoo n harsh products
or hair got split ends

solution:
do a hot-towel oil treatment at home
if persists...go for a salon or spa hair treatment...

I KNOW, lol=P
What's up with that?
I think it's the climate factor at least where I'm at, it's humid here which probably causes it to go wavy & frizzy.
Personally, I don't mind that my straight hair has a little bit of a curl to it. It adds body & heck it saves money from getting it done at the hair salon, lol=)

I have a similar problem, as i've gotten older and got my hair cut shorter, the curls surface to the top, its really annoying as my hair has also gotten thicker. I've found that changing hair care products or letting my hair dry naturally also changes my hair, when i blow dry it it goes really, really frizzy.

Every 7 or so years you grow a new body from head to foot. Your hair can go from any texture to any texture what ever your genes have programed it to do.

You might have damaged hair which would give it that curl look. Get a think conditioner and give your ends a cream pack. That might solve your problem right there.

scientfically more disufide bonds in your hair would result in a curl...but i dont think that that can spontaneously happen. unless u get a perm...maybe a new shampoo? or even water quality might affect it...
