Blue is a very calming color. I agree with Lapis Lazuli... also, I find that Blue Lace Agate is calming, as well.

How about the rune "Berkano"? It looks pretty well like a "B"...just look it up. If you can't find it, add "futhark" to the search list. It essentially stands for mother Earth and renewal, but also is used magically for healing and comfort.

Or, you could use the rune "Kenaz", which is shaped like so: <
It gives comfort in the sense that reason gives comfort by cutting through confusion.

Any quartz is good, rose is usually used for romance (due to its colour) but some people find it very soothing. I like looking at my peice of rutilated quaartz and trying to see the threads inside. I also suggest amber. It's the fossilized sap of a once-living tree and it grounds one to the earth. My sister-in-law always suggests a jasper for calmness (but she does like jasper) Good luck. I hope you find what you're looking for.

The problem, dearheart, is in the question. If it is a charm, then it need not "represent" anything; it is. On the other hand, if you would have something represent calmness, then choose whatsoever you may that represents your faith.
