I am 13. I want to become a professional singer. I know I can if I work hard enough. I have 2 1/2 free hours a day. How much should I practice a day and 4 hours weekends? I want to practice the full 2 1/2 hours, but I don't want to damage my voice.

Most singers I know practice singing for an hour a day, the rest of the time is articulating words, mouth exercises, rhythm and so forth. These are opera singers though, I think that there is a limit as to how much your vocal chords can take and it might be shorter than you think. Then there is also a certain nutrition plan that might help you to not damage your vocal chords. Like soda might not be so good. So yeah a good teacher should know how to help you train your voice.

Singing is something that everybody can learn and improve. Of course, some are more naturally skilled than others, but even a poor voice can be overcome by dedication, practice, and more practice. Even if you're content to sing in the shower, there are some things you can do to improve your voice. This is probably the best online course to improve your singing skills https://tr.im/GrXol

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/improveyoursinging

Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.

Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

My advice to you is to get a trainer if you want to sing as a profession. I did choir these past three years and I sang to music everyday. Whatever you want to sing, don't sing anything harsh. You need to gradually work up to the level you want your voice at. If your at all like the boys who were in choir with me, then you really need to be careful. There's nothing wrong with singing young but for guys it could really damage your voice. (That's why singers like Billy Gilman and Jesse McCartney dissappeared for awhile.) So take it easy on your voice and just work a little eacch day by singing ifferent style of songs.

You need to get a voice coach before you practice at all. He or she can train you as to how to sing correctly and safely. Your teacher will also recommend a good amount for you to sing based on your amount of training. However, all my voice teachers told me to sing whenever I felt like singing. But, as I said, GET TRAINING or you will probably destroy your voice!
