Just stop it if it starts playing with MWP. Don't you download music? If you do, then you should have a My Music file or something along those lines. Right-click on one of those files, go down to "Open With..." and select Winamp and checkmark the box at the bottom so it always opens with winamp. If you go to the properties of that song, it should say that it's Winamp, too. That should automatically change all your music files to your specification. So if you open a CD folder, the files should be associated with Winamp. If not, just open it manually... otherwise, download Winamp again, set it as your default player when prompted (I think they do...), and that should do it. Or... search for a site that'll teach you how to change your default players so that you can make winamp your default player.
