maybe if he's too busy for a relationship, than he'll be too busy to be friends...

be his friend. It might be that he just needs a break for a while. Don't bug him about geting back together, and except it if he ends up going with someone else.

And because he broke up with you, you can just have fun and if you end up finding another guy oh well, and if you don't oh well.

If you love him then you must be his friend. Allow him to find himself without sacrificing who you are. If it is meant to be then he will come back to you. You have to decide if he is worth the wait and what you do in the midst of waiting. Meaning do you date others or just wait by the phone. If he actually seems to have his priorities together then be grateful that he is focused. Maybe he did you a favor. He may need to sort other things out in his life and he will only hurt you by putting you on a back burner so he would rather let you free until he's ready and settled. That sounds great but all things considered, there could possibly be someone else or he is just not feeling you. You have to really evaluate the relationship and see has there been other signs leading to this breakup.

If your boyfriend just broke up with you and gave you a reason, believe him. You are lucky, at least he told you and didn't just start totally ignoring you! Are you interested in 'just being friends?' If so talk to him about it. This young man may just need more time to grow and do some deep thinking about life himself. If he's lost interest in you as a girlfriend give him the space he's asking for, away from the relationship. Use the extra time to your advantage by spending more time with your friends, enjoying a hobby you have let slide or in making some new friends.

Whatever you think you can handle, But don't hold on to the fact that he'll come back if he's not busy.

If you are able to be friends, its always a good thing. But make sure he treats you with respect.

That's just a way of saying he's not that into you...it may or may not be true (most often, it's not)...however if he makes a move to stay friends, and you want to do that, that's up to you.

He broke up with you, so let him make contact or extend friendship...you doing it will seem like you're trying to hang on...

Well, if he's too busy for you, then he's too busy for a friend also...

I say go find someone else and forget about him... What a rotten excuse... "I'm too busy..." Sounds like he's found another woman who's having sex with him...

if he's too busy for a relationship, he'll be too busy to be your friend, this is just another guy phrase to break up with you and leave you high & dry ... i would forget him and find someone else.

Why don't you try this,Wait until he calls you,if it takes him more than a week to do this, forget about him and move on.But it sounds like he dumped you for someone else but didn't have the balls to tell you the truth.
