I'm 28 and I'm starting to feel this urge to have a wife and children. Is it possible for a man to have a "biological clock"?

Sure, I believe people get urges at certain ages, or start feeling like things they want to do in life need to be done because time is running out...

I think I stepped out of line when the bio clocks were being handed out...but a lot of women I know have them...don't see why a guy couldn't have one too...maybe you got mine...lol!

Only in a different sense than women since "biological clock" refers to the period of time a woman is fertile whereas men have the ability to reproduce their entire lives. You may just be feeling an urge to have a family because it's about time and you don't probably want to be raising kids when you are 80 years old.

I think the term you're looking for is "social clock." At least, that's the way I learned it in psych. Yes, anyone can have a "clock," but they're not really necessary anymore, considering how marriage and children are no longer necessary. If you really want those to things, you have every right to go out and get them.

All your thousands and thousands of generations of ancestors had this urge, or you would not exist. The humans who did not "get busy" and produce children died out. We are all the products of people who mated and reproduced, so we should not be surprised that we want this.

It's very common for 28-30 year old men to suddenly want to nest. You are totally normal.
