I like to think cuts is the best solution. Straightening should have a smaller
limit due to it is excessive. Done in pro models work rarely, straight is
a matter of style can happen to work. Gel, and wax treats will keep it shiny.
Do not go for style without protecting the source the color itself. Oil and
softness should be built into the cut or the coloring.

First you need a good ceramic straightening iron (CHI is the best), the metal ones are very damaging. Second you should go to a salon and have a stylist give you a good cut and recommend shampoo, conditioner and a protectant just for you. In my opinion(I am a cosmetologist) I recommend sleek look or Straight Sexy Hair (shampoo and conditioner) and either Bio Silk or Silk Infusion as a protectant. You also need to get a trim regularly, about every six to eight weeks for long hair.

well i think you should try gloss for hair, first after you take a shower towel dry your hair and wait an hour to dry it more then apply any glossy shine for hair apply it usualy on the ends of the hair because thats where the iron burns it most thats how hair stands up. then straiten and when finnished apply gloss all over the hair not too much because some glosses are very thick... HOPE THIS WORKS!

I would try John Frieda products. He seems to have a broad line. I use his Frizz-Ease serum and it works great. Another line I like is KMS... sold in salon's like ULTA...
I have curly hair and I straighten it once in a while and the products seem to fit all my needs.

Use a ceramic flat iron (like a CHI).... I use one every day on my hair and it's totally healthy. They do not damage your hair like the old style metal ones do.

I really like farouk systems: biosilk, silk therapy. "cure soyeuse" it is expensive but well worth it. Target sells it and it is the only thing that works and keeps my hair from fro-ing.
