Jesus doesn't demand anything. He asks us to have faith - and to follow Him.
It's our choice.

do not get too carried away with this David thing cuz so far as far as I know there is scant evidence he was not who he said, and the very fact that the merchant run government went in and expended great energy to kill him off is like in the case of Jesus a good indication there was something about him and it was not the guns, that threatened them. I live close to that area Iand I can tell you one thing for absolute certain, the governments story is a lie. They shot when they said they did not. The shell casings were there under concrete they moved when they began clearing the area. Saw them with my own eyes and there were people there making sure nobody was taking pictures or pieces of evidence. So the facts on him are not clear. Currently reading his messages, One thing for sure he was pointing out the US Gov. can not be trusted but now everbody knows that. Then not so much.

Faith is his words, in the inspired book, the Bible, not a man. One must search the scriptures for the truth to see if there is any light (truth) in what people may tell us. Also, remember that the scriptures say that there will be false prophets in the last days.

Actually, Jesus wants us to follow Him so He can lead us to God, in whom we are to have absolute faith. This is why He is often referred to as the Good Shepherd, because we are a part of His flock and will follow Him.

Jesus doesn't demand it, the apostles did and in their writings, they evolved what Jesus was trying to do. But evolved it into the wrong thing.

Branch Davidians did not worship him, they followed him, like Jesus's followers followed him.

They did not worship Jesus in his life, only after his death.

Sure seems that way to me.

Nice comparison btw, I've always said that the only difference between cults and religions are the number of participants.

Quite true, if you think about it
