It probably depends on what your parents think. I think that they are ok, but moms usually dont want their kids looking to ' sexy' trust me, thats the way my mom is. But in the eye of the public, its not too young to get your hair colored. Just remember that it is fairly expensive for the upkeep on hair styles like that.

I think that 13 years old is a good age to start. That is when they all start caring about how they look. And highlights make more of a change than you think. Good Luck.

i would never get highlights because it makes your hair look really really unnatural and you can never get it back to how it was because of damage and all other things. I would say at 13, ur not too young, but i still wouldnt do it because of the effect it has. Hope I helped!

i'm 12 (13 in lower than a week) an I placed on starting up position, concealer, lipstick/lipgloss, eyeshadow - oftentimes black, brown or gray, mascara - black, eyeliner - black on authentic and bottom waterline besides as round entire eye smudged bellow, Bronzer till i elect to look light coz i'm evidently light and my starting up position suits my pores and skin tone, i will use a highlighter on my foreheadbone and cheek bones, I on occasion fill in my eyebrows, and that is about it except possibly an eye fixed primer and powder and stuff yet yeah. makeup is about expressing your self so extremely that's all about what makes you tender and also you've faith to portray who you're. My mom and father do not extremely care what makeup I placed on when you consider that i purchase it and they by no skill say some thing. because that's me expressing who i'm and what my form is, and that i do not care what others imagine they comprehend that it kinda skill i do not care in the journey that they don't love it. Expressing who i'm is much better important than making those with chuffed about the way you look.

No. My mom wouldnt let me so when I finally did start putting color in my hair i went nuts.
As someone in the beauty field I see a lot of young girls doing ugly things and wearing bad make-up, having bad hair dye jobs. As a mom , when my daughter is old(13) enough she will be allowed to wear make up so long as a professional talks to her about it, same for her hair.
You can buy her a make-up and style book suited for teenage girls.

I have been letting my daughter get occasional highlights, mostly in the summertime and she's not quite 10 yet. I don't see a problem with it.

We also go on mother-daughter dates where we go get pedicures and do some shopping together.

well I believe so; but 13 years old girls are doing it all the time. I know a few that has already dyed their hair. My mother wouldn't let me, and I an glad she didn't now that I am older.

in my opinion, no. some people might think it is, if you are planning on getting highlites, try a nice color that's a little lighter {for brunnets & most red heads} or a little darker {for blonds and some redheads}. don't go color crazy. talk to your parent before you get highlites and have a professional do it so u won't mess up! the last think u want is a funny lookin' hair color. and remember, once you highlite your hair, your hair will be slighly damaged for quite a while so try to use shampoo's and conditioners that replenish damaged hair!♥

if i have helped, please rate meh!
