Also, what is a great hotel with a good location to see the sights in New York? (the cheaper the better, of course)

I'm flying into NY from NC for the cruise.

I would strongly advice going through travel agent and and agent can answer any questions, concerns, or help with needs you might have along with helping you in making the cruise reservations.

Much against popular belief travel agents aren't expensive such as some people like to believe. Just find yourself a good agent, like any job there are the good, the bad and the ugly!

Have a good Cruise.

Be sure you are leaving from Manhattan, Some boats leave from Brooklyn and from Bayonne, NJ

From Manhattan and Bayonne, Newark/Liberty (EWR) airport is most convent. From Brooklyn JFK would be better.

If you are returning to dock in NY on your return, sometimes the Cruse Company or your Travel Agent can hook you up with a shuttle bus to the Airport.

Most cruise ships have a shuttle from airport to ship, and most
cruise ships have participating hotels for guests who come in
early or want to stay over for an extra day or two. Call & ask,
you'll probably get a better deal with their help.

p.s. enjoy the cruise.

Check hotels.com. If you are leaving from Broklyn, JFK is in Brooklyn. If from Manhattan, look for something close, but everything is expensive, so consider your budget.
