I hear all the rationale about God caring such as

1. We don't listen
2. He can't solve all of our problems - life is a test
3. God gives us choices - people cause pain, not God
4. We mere mortals are not exhalted enough to see or speak to God.

We often refer to God the father. I can only speak in human terms, but when I think of a father figure, I think of someone who spends time with his kids.

Someone who talks to his kids, someone who helps his kids, someone who would never want pain to come to his kids.

Again, I've heard all the arguments, but wouldn't it be nice if God really spent time with us, talked to us, acknowledged that he is helping us so that we know he is there...it really is all based on faith and sometimes that is really tough to understand.

Good point ... don't you think if there REALLY was a God as is spoken of, HE would actually care and things would not be as they are????

When we all figure this out and take responsibility for OURSELVES (WE ARE GOD) ... then the world will be a much better place! Don't falsely pray and wait for some fairly tale person to help you ... help YOURSELF!

Hi Bob.

Try studying the course in miracles. Thousands of people who study it have connected with their inner guidance (God).

God spends every moment of every day with you. He talks but you need to stop for a minute and really listen. Religion will tell you that this is not possible, but it is. Religion would rather have you read 2000 year old scripture than listen to the God within you. Jesus told us that the kingdom of the father was within us.

That is exactly where you will find Him If you actually take the time to listen.. Try the course Bob, It works.

Love and blessings Don

I think the point he was trying to get across was that God knows about the birds being sold. He cares so much as to know what is going on with the smallest of animals; how much more is He aware of what is going on with us? Matthew 10:29-31 says, "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." These verses show that not only is God very aware of what goes on, but He goes on to say, "So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." In other words, if He notices them, wouldn't He be more inclined to notice and help those whom He loves more than sparrows?

Of course God cares about us...

and don't think about God as a "father", becuase a father needs his children, but on the other hand, God doesn't need us. Which doesnt mean He doesn't care, NO, but he only cares about those who listen to him, and obey him. Why would God listen to someone who sins everyday of his life, and doest everything God has forbiddened?

Yes God gave us choices to do what we want, but only He has the right to judge us at the end, and see how wrong or right we were...He is always watching, and always helping us, only if we ask him for help. Try praying (no matter what your religion is), and see how God shall help you.....God bless

The answer is Yes God cares and love everyone. For God so love the world, that He gave His only Son Jesus who died on the cross for our sin, that whoever believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. of cos sometimes God wont give us all the answer tat we asked for, maybe because the things we wanted God knew it wil harm us but i am sure He wil give the best for everyone.the problem is are we willing to have patient and trust in Him everyday?

Well God does talk to me, though rarely with words. But yes, most people don't listen most of the time. I think it's more that what we see as problems, God doesn't see as problems. Our primative attempts at understanding God probably don't hit any near the hugeness of God.

ROMANS 12:2b

Your heavenly Father's goal is for you to mature and develop the characteristics of Jesus Christ. Sadly, millions of Christian grow older but never grow up. They are stuck in perpetual spiritual infancy, remaining in diapers and booties. The reason is that they never intended to grow.
Spiritual growth is not automatic. It takes an intentional commitment. You must want to grow, decide to grow, make an effort to grow, and persist in growing. Discipleship- the process of becoming like Christ- always begins with decision.
John 8:31-32
James 1:12
Philippians 1:6
Be patient with God and with yourself. One of life's frustrations is that God's timetable is rarely the same as ours. We are often in a hurry when God isn't. You may feel frustrated with the seemingly slow progress you're making in life. Remember that God is never in a hurry but he is always on time. He will use your entire lifetime to prepare you for your role in eternity.
The Bible is filled with examples of how God uses a long process to develop character, especially in leaders. He took eighty years to prepare Moses, including forty in the wilderness. For 14,600 days Moses kept waiting and wondering, " Is it time yet?" But God kept saying, " Not yet."

Aye, but what you are asking for is proof of his existance.

If he did exist and proved it, the christians would have a field day, but until then, they can only refer to their fairy tale, err, bible and tell us how right they are and it will be proven some day.

Yawn... how long will they hold this fantasy before realising how pathetic the whole thing is and waking up to reality?

There is nothing, through out history that shows any of the hundreds of gods man has devised, caring about anything.
