Looking for a good deal on a one week vacation spot. I live near
toronto and looking to go anywhere cheap. Not a junkie location but nice and reasonable. This is for starving students

Winter travel isn't cheap, just isn't. I mean Jan is lower in prices than Dec, Feb, Mar and April however. This depends on what you are trying to do which you aren't really saying. Unfortunately nice and cheap never go hand in hand.

Is there somewhere in your area nice you can drive to? Considering it is cold up there that time, going to another cold place and I'm assuming this isn't what you are wanting. Most likely you want warm. There are several places that are warm to choose from and trust me they are filling up and longer you wait, prices will go up. So anything you might do you need to look right away. But again this time of year is never cheap.

Best of Luck to you.
