i was gonna say cyprus (rhodes) but i was confused by the thousands of miles of shoreline and more land masses surrounded by water...remote huh im guessing it is and archipelago somewhere in the south pacific...i guess i dont understand how you worded clue #2 are we supposed to add together the populations of these towns and thats the number of landmasses (atolls,islands and such)? aha the key is sportmans mystical spot, teauhpo,tahiti ,legendary waves

I not very sure. I think it is Virgin Islands.
