Tomorrow i have to get a enema for the first time and i'm 15.. I hear it's where they squirt water up your butt but that's all i know. does it hurt a lot? do i have to take off my clothes?
i'm embarassed about it a lot. do i have to stand up or what do i do when they do it? what if i make my cheeks tight together or try to so they cant put it in?
does it make me go to the bathroom the same way or diffferent and longer?

They will probably make you lie on your side slightly rolled toward you stomach with your top leg bent and relaxed on the table. This is called the sim's position. It probably wont be painful it will just be uncomfortable. The more you relax, the easier it will be on you. Take slow deep breaths while they are doing it. They will most likely tell you everything they are doing before they do it. The most important thing is to relax. I know that it will be hard but it will make the whole experience better.
You may have loose stool for a couple days afterward.

Why do you have to get an enema? For a diagnostic test? Do it.
They can't do it if you don't cooperate. Modesty will be preserved as much as possible. It doesn't hurt, but it's uncomfortable. It is done with you lying on your side. You will probably have your clothes off below the waist and wear a hospital gown unless it's done at home. A tube is inserted gently into your anus and water (or whatever liquid they are using, if it's a diagnostic test) is allowed to run in. You will feel like having a bowel movement, but you will be asked to hold it in as long as you can. That's the hard part. You will get pretty full. Finally you will be allowed to go to the toilet. The BM will be loose because of the extra water; you'll have to sit a few minutes before you're finished. Then it's over!

Why do you have to have an enema? You will probably strip down to your waist and they will put water up your rectum.You will be lying down with your legs up to your chest.You will go to the bathroom and all the water will come out along with your stool.It is not painful but there will be discomfort.Good luck.

it does not hurt and don't be scared it's a cake walk and you won't be in the restroom that long
