Tomorrow i have to get a enema for the first time and i'm 15.. I hear it's where they squirt water up your butt but that's all i know. does it hurt a lot? do i have to take off my clothes?
i'm embarassed about it a lot. do i have to stand up or what do i do when they do it? what if i make my cheeks tight together or try to so they cant put it in?
does it make me go to the bathroom the same way or diffferent and longer?

enema consist of water & soap, it stimulates your sigmoid process (s shape in the large intestine going to the rectum) to facilitate bowel elimination.. it doesnt hurt, a thin tube will be inserted in your anus & they will squirt the solution. imagine how thin the tube is & how big is your stool,,they will apply it when youre in side lying position..
they are doing enema bec you cant eliminate your bowel normally,.after the enema you can have regular bowel movement
