This came up on another question. It is not actually my question. It was asked by someone else in an answer.

Anybody god any insight into this?

Thanks

But John, you said Jesus is God. This is the only thing that I agree with you about. After all, He is the King of kings, and Lord of Lords, the Almighty. He came in the flesh to redeem mankind. The Spirit could not die. He needed a sacrifice, hence the man, Christ Jesus. Your trinitarian arguements that Jesus is God (Almighty, having all power), and is subordinate to a more powerful God doesn't make sense. Jesus is the Father, Jesus is the Son, Jesus is the Holy Ghost. There is One God. The trinity is so full of holes that it won't even hold the water that trinitarians use to describe the 3? of them.

But God cannot be tempted of evil. The bible is very clear on this.

Every scripture you give proves tha Jesus is God. But who, or what did Mary give birth to? God? Then maybe Mary is the Mother of God, as some would claim.

I know Jesus is the Father. I know Jesus is the Son. I know Jesus is the Holy Ghost. And all these three are ONE.

The point of the question is to show that Jesus is not equal to "God the Father"

1 Cor 11:3 was also quoted in the answer.
This verse (20 years after Jesus when to heaven) shows that God the Father is above Jesus as Jesus is above man.

If Thomas calling Jesus "God" makes Jesus equal to "God the Father", then when Samson's father called the angel of the LORD "God", then that angel must also be "God the Father" (Judges 13:21,22)

Heb. 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.

So what Jesus was prior to, while on, and after leaving the earth is the same Jesus. (Prov 8:22, 30; Rev 3:14; Col 1:15;)

Because one is the Head and the other is in submission to his will(1 Cor 15:28).God the Son is equal to God the Father but God the Father is the one in charge.God the Father cannot be tempted..God the Son can and was.Your futile attempts to disprove Jesus' deity are not working...God bless.Update:You are getting close to accepting the truth.Jesus was not God the Father..Or he could not have been tempted.Yet Jesus was God because Thomas and John said so.So then..He was the Son..God..Eternal..So he was the Eternal God the Son..Wasn't he??God bless.(John 1:14,1 Timothy 3:16,1 Tim 6:16)By the way..Jesus and God the Father are not seperate gods..They are One God(1 John 5:7)Final update:Amen..You are now getting the picture.God bless.

God the Son was made human ... the bible says He was made lower than angels in order to taste death for all mankind.

It's not the temptation that proves one is God it's the refusal to fall for the temptation.
