LimeWire. Thats legal. There is a version that you have to buy, but there is another one free also.

LimeWire and Ares are all legal....unless you use them to download copyrighted music, which is pretty much any music that is even remotely popular. Unheard of groups will sometimes give there music away to attract new fans, but other than that, there is NO such thing as free legal music.
