Of course I would not! There would be others who would shout that - I would not.

i would probably not because i abhor violence and cruelty in any form; in fact i probably wouldnt even want to be there. However i also would not take any action to stop the crucification simply because i don't want to be a martyr and i am scared of being crucified too. However, if those who were in the crowd were my friends or those i respect i would probably go along with the crowd - in fact, a mob on the whole is the lowest common denominator of the people that made up the crowd and despite what people say peer pressure is unthinkably powerful.

If I was blinded by my own ignorance, hate for faith in one god, lacking understanding of true guidance, I probably would have. And am a very lucky person, that I was born into a family who taught be a tad better than that.
Im Muslim, and if I had believed that Jesus the Messiah was ever crucified, I would so feel bad, ashamed, embarrased and depressed that he was murdered in such an embarrasing, painful way, that wud make my blood turn cold in its veins.
But thank God, I dont believe that...Hes safe...with God.

Considering that he was a false messiah, I would probably would not want to see him hurt, but certainly punished for his hubris. He did have some decent ideas about revamping our religion, but not so much that he should be seen as the messiah. And all these people saying "No" have NO PROOF, and are just listening to what their priests have said on the matter. AND I doubt that any of you are Israelite, or were there 2000 years ago.

Who really knows? Even those closest to him betrayed him. Peter, who was the closest to him besides Mary, denied him three times.
I know as part of the Easter services leading up to Easter Sunday we re-enact the crucifixion with the scriptures and everybody at mass yells out "crucify him!".
Think about how people react to George Bush. With his "God told me to be president". "God told me to fight Iraq". "God told me to get double-ply toilet paper". Who knows, maybe God really did want Bush to be president. Maybe he is doing the right thing, these jihadists certainly do want to kill us. There is a movement trying to take over the world. I don't think Bush is doing God's work. In fact, comparing Jesus to George Bush.....I think I need to go to confession. That's got to be a sin.

I'd take him out quickly and quietly to avoid him becoming a martyr and undo all the harm your aggrandized cult has done over the centuries past

I hate crowds. I suspect I wouldn't have even been there. And if I had been there, I probably would have been shaking my head and laughing at how people tend to be corrupted by the mob mentality, and will go along with anything.

probably not specially knowing what I know now, because had he not been crucified he would not have been made the under-doG's hero, cult martyr he became. It was timing, all timing.

No, of course not. He was a man. What a horrible way to die. Besides, Pilate made him a martyr with what he did. It was a stupid thing to do no matter what way you look at it.
