My 8 yr old daughter is supposed to dress up in a space theme for school for halloween i havnt found an actual costume yet so plz i need your input on at home ideas that we could do for her. I would greatly appreciate any input!

paint her belly brown, and attach a bunch or hair looking yarn to her. She can go as uranus

Astronaut... where lots of blue and make fake space patches. An old teacher of mine had an actual space suit that she wore on Halloween that looked like that. She used it for training at the Space Centre in Alabama.
Stars/moon.... black, with a lot of sparkles!

Well I would say that you should really try wearing a wight shiny shirt white with white shiny pants. You can have here were regular wight shoes and go and make a hat with no glass but make it shiny to match the outfit.

An all black leotard (I can't spell, sorry) and paste or hot glue those green glow in the dark stars all over it. It would look awesome, espeically with the lights out! She would be SPACE itself :)

tin foil and a card board box : for her head gear apply the foil to her helmet from her bike
