Honestly i know it hurts to hear this but the truth is that he just hasn't found anyone better yet cause obviously he has been trying to and that's why he's not with you but when he thinks screw it i might as well stay with her cause i can't find abyone better then that's when he comes back to you cause he knows you'll be there ready to take him back when the time comes and you should stop so he knows that you're not sitting around waiting for him and will put up with whatever he gives you cause you're better than that,we all are.

Nicole, it may not stop. My first love and I started going out in 1974 and broke up finally in about 1979 (after being on and off). We have kept in contact over the years. He has been married twice and was involved with a lady recently. In between each relationship, he would come and visit me to see if I was available. The first time I was married and pregnant. We saw each other at a reunion 2 years ago and stayed up all night talking. We had a kiss at the end and for the first time in 30 years, I realised I was totally over him. Now he has broken up with his girlfriend, he is ringing me, going over old times and telling me he still loves me. I am clever enough to realise I was always his"stand by" girl. The one to fill in between serious relationships. He knows I know this, so we are still friends. Maybe this is why yours keeps coming back. Make a break and don't see him for 5 years. Works a treat

Because you let him come back. The next time he leaves...make sure he stays gone. You are his security blanket. Is that how you want to be viewed as for the rest of your life?

He loves you, and he can't make it without you. Trust me, my boyfriend and I have been together about as long on and off. We can't stand to be away from each other for even a second, and we love each other so much, we're practically attached. I can't see myself loving anyone else, either, so that's probably what it is.

Well because you are better that other people hes been seeing. But if I would be on your place I would give him ultimatum. How long can you handle this?

because you let him. he is using you when he cant get anyone else. if you are not okay with that then stop letting him come back. im sure you deserve better then that.
