ok ... heres the thing. i really like this guy and he now knows i exist. my friend told him on the bus that i liked him and all he did was look and smile at me after she pointed me out. now its a day since that happend and im as nervous as ever. my other friend told me that when ever i was brought up he would smile and he even asked her for my name and on the bus today i couldnt make myself talk to him. it seems like he likes me but im not sure, i just dont want to think he does and then find out later that he never did like me. so what can i do to talk to him with out sounding stupid for being overly nervous? what are some good topics to talk about? and whats a good confedence builder before talking to a cute guy?

Perhaps you should just try and strike up a conversation with this guy - he has shown a interest in you to your friend so i dont see that you have anything to loose, if you really like him go for it while you can as you dont know whos waiting in the wings

Well I am assuming you are both in school, so that gives you lots of options to talk about. Do you share any teachers or classes? That could be a good starting poiint, discussing them.
Do you have a favorite TV show, or Music band that you love, ask him if he likes them too?
Seen any good movies lately, or read a good book? Have you a special homework assignment, that he may have had, or he might know something about it.
Just talk about anything you like, the weather if you want, is it raining, sunny, warm. cold, etc.
Any thing will break the ice, once you have started talking, it's easy to go on from there.
So even if he doesn't like you, it's no big tragedy is it, not nice, but you will survive it, and you can move on to some other boy.
And if he does like you, then you are all set, aren't you.
So just go for it, you have nothing to lose. Don't worry about being nervous, everyone is, when asking another person out. Once you have asked him, or talked to him, even if it doesn't work out, at least you tried, and that will give you confidence in your next attempt.
