What does a ovarian cyst that is thick along with irregular borders signify? It is circular. Please help. Thanks.

I have PCOS. It causes many cysts, circular, with irregular borders. I have had it a long time, and from what I understand, that is just the cyst that forms before you ovulate. It happens monthly. Mine just never open, so I don't ovulate. What did the doctor say concerning this? Is it reoccuring? Some cysts must be removed. But a cyst and tumor are not the same thing. Don't think cancer unless the doctor says "cancer". No need to worry unnessesarely!

I get ovarian cysts all the time. I don't know they are there till they rupture....and that can be quite painfull!! Have you talked to a doctor? most women get cysts, and they usually disappear on there own...

I would definitely have it checked out. I can mean nothing or it can be the early stages of some kind of development. I would get it checked out as soon as possible.
