I want to go to Guadalajara Mexico in car in december. I dont know how to get their. Give me some sources or if youve been their by car how do you get their. THanks...

Drive over to Nogales and head south on Mex hyway 15. It goes right thru Guadalajara.
Have the car paid for, copies of all your paperwork, passport, a credit card ... and buy insurance

The roads are pretty simple even though it might be simpler crossing in "TJ" because your from LA but I want to warn you that crossing the border in Tijuana is a hororshow, Nogales is the best place to cross. Make sure After you cross about 45 minutes passed the border you will have to stop to fill out some car info. You cant miss the turn off but you'll regret it if you do because you will have to come back.

Dude whats the point of even driving the cost of gas or you being robbed in Mexico just buy a round-trip airfare on either priceline or orbitz I think Delta is the lowest fare carrier to GDL, Mexico! Viva Mexico cabrones! Buy now while it's less expensive i'm telling you once December rolls around forget it the prices will sky-rocket! Have fun

I live in Guadalajara and I think it´s a little to far to come driving, but if you still wanna do it, good luck!!!.
You will enjoy coming here, it´s a nice place to visit, well I live here what else can I say.

WELL I GOT TO GIVE YOU CREDIT FOR WANTING TO DO IT.
RIGHT OFF THE BAT I HAVE TO SAY TAKE THE PLANE AND SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF PAIN AND ASPRINS. IT IS A VERY LONG DRIVE. THERE'S SOME POSSIBLE DANGER AS WELL.
TAKE A PLANE BETTER DOWN THERE AND RENT A CAR. GDL MEXICO IS AWSOME BUT YOU WILL GET THERE TIRED.
THERE IS ALOT OF TOLLS DOWN THERE FROM 2 DLLS TO ALLMOST 7DLLS. PER TOLL. GAS IS WORST THAN THRIFTY GAS THAT DOESN'T LAST LONG
YOU PUMP A TANK AND LAST LIKE A NORMAL 3/4 IF YOUR LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!
BUT IF YOUR GOING TO DO IT, HERE'S HOW.
TAKE I-10 DOWN TO TUCSON AND GRAB THE I-19 TO NOGALES AZ. IF TIRED, SLEEP THERE. IN THE EARLY MORNING GO FORWARD AND GO TAKE OUT YOUR TRAVEL PERMIT FOR YOU AND YOUR CAR. YOU NEED PASSPORT FOR YOU, PINKSLIP AND CREDITCARD FOR YOUR CAR AND TAKE OUT THE NATIONAL ONE FOR YOU TO GO ALL THRU MEXICO WITHOUT NOT ONE PROBLEM.
YOU GO DOWN ALL THRU SONORA AND PASS ON THRU THE STATE OF SINALOA WHERE YOU DRIVE TO REST IN MAZATLAN. SLEEP IT OFF AND YOUR LIKE 9 HOURS AWAY. WAKE UP AND DRIVE TILL YOU GET THERE.
ALONG THE WAY YOU WILL FACE COUNTLESS CHECKPOINTS SEARCHING FOR GUNS AND DRUGS AND IT IS FARE TO WARN YOU THAT YOU CAN GET SET UP. THE ARMY CHECK POINT, FEDERALES, THE WANNA BE CHP, LOCAL POLICE, AFI THE WANNA BE FBI.... THOSE GUYS ARE SERIOUS JERKS. BUT OUT OF THAT, GAS WILL BE A FACTOR. YOU WILL SPEND OVER 500 IN GAS AND TOLL IN THE LONG RUN.
SO TAKE A PLANE BETTER. THERE ARE SOME GOOD PLANE SPECIALS AND PACKAGES IN DEC. SO THAT IS ANOTHER OPTION.
