I think he likes you, but he's really backwards. I don't mean that in a bad way, but he has almost no clue how to talk to a woman. I think that's the only problem. I think he wants to talk to you, but he doesn't have any conversational skills, see what I mean? So maybe you've just got to get him talking, but it's sort of a catch 22, because the guy is supposed to make the effort, you know. I have an idea. You can only do this with a guy friend you can trust and who you ask to help you. Hopefully you have a guy friend you can ask. so anyway, what you do is get your guy friend in a lively conversation right around this boy. It might make him just a little jealous, so watch closely, that's not the object. As soon as your love interest shows some sign that he's listening, continue talking to your friend, but use your body language, turn toward your love interest, even take a small step towards him, as if to invite him into the conversation. Ask your guy friend to help you beforehand to get him in a conversation, so he will be willing to include him. You need your friend to be a guy, because if it's just two girls talking, it looks like it's a private convo, the kind guys don't care about getting involved in. and you need that little jealousy factor. When your love interest actually says something, that's what you've been waiting for, get him talking. He just needs to open up and have a nice conversation with you. And make it the first of many. Your guy friend should politely bow out when he does, so long as you two get it straight beforehand.

Lady,if you had the desire to know of this man so that you needed to take the action of asking him out...
And he gazed in your eyes and said,maybe...
That is a no...
As he wants to take his time and see if you will pursue him,so as to share time in his company...
And it could also be that he wishes to make another lady he may desire to become jealous of your interest in him...
Find another who will enjoy your company and share himself with you from minute one...

either he's nervous, or he's playing hard to get. I would just wait for a few days and act like it didn't worry me one way or the other. If he's interested, he'll get back to you, if not, then you know he's probably not.

maybe ... sounds like theres conditions on him taking you out ... like if he was to take you out ... would you put out ... if the answer is Yes ..then he'd think it might be worth it ... if No .. he'd probably think why bother ..what's in it for me??? .... forget him ... go out with someone who's a little more definate in what they want ... in this case ..... YOU :)
