My personal opinion is: Absolutely! There are many, many people since the beginning of time but most especially in the past two thousand years who have, for many reasons, especially religious, made vows to God to abstain from sex/marriage as a sign of love for Him and for mankind.
Think of religous sisters (Nuns), Catholic priests and Brothers, Dorothy Day (a lay person, check her out on the web) and so many thousands of others.
If what others tell you make you feel you are "odd man out", that is most probably the reason you might feel mad.
Sex is beautiful under the right circumstances and with the right person...what is beautiful can become cheapened under the wrong circumstances or with the wrong person.
Don't be afraid to think seriously and make your own decisions about such serious matters. Consult with a wise parent, aunt or cousin or close family friend.

Yes it is. My ex-bf raped me one night, and ever since then, (over 1 yr ago) I have not trusted a man. But I don't get mad, it is their nature. One day I will trust a man again with my body, but right now I need to heal. So I take care of me. Good luck with this question.

I think so... just look at monks. Besides its usually the opposite sex that makes someone mad to begin with. :p
