*LOL* Wierd no. Your belief is your belief. And I don't quote scripture to prove in the existence of the Bible. It's historocity is being shown time and again. Watch the history channel. That channel is by no means Christian friendly. It shows evidence for the Bible and it historical facts. Hey at least if the Bible is not true it shows all the history of how they the Romans and other people lived. If the Bible is proved historically accurate, at least we have truth. And if the Bible is true, who is to says the events are not. I do not say it is wierd you do not believe though. In fact in the exodus it was proven that all the first born men were killed by a disease of some kind. They found a mass grave of it. It dates back to the time of the passover. Perhaps it is a fairy tale. I've not found evidence to say it is not without a doubt.

Christians don't think that it's weird for someone to be an unbeliever. That's the norm for the majority of the population even though a poll would say otherwise. As to there being no evidence of God all you have to do is consider that this universe is illogical without God. If there is no Creator then I guess that means that all of the matter has just always been here with no explanation of how it came to be here in the first place. That doesn't make sense to me, but if you want to believe that there has just always been matter that didn't have a cause for it then that's up to you. If you try to say "well, there was this big bang" you don't solve the problem because you are still saying that something came from nothing and that doesn't make sense now does it? But if you say that there is a being who exists outside of time and space who created our universe then you at least have something that is logical.

Do you believe you have a heart inside your rib cage?
Have you seen it? Are you able to control it at your own will? Aren't you even scared it keeps on beating even when you are sleeping? You better believe you're just like a computer and God is your omniscient ISP.
Do you have a navel? Then you must have a mother.
It only shows God's handprints are in you coming into this world. Don't tell me you just popped out of the Earth or came from a test tube at your own will.
If you cannot even defy the law of gravity and levitate for 15 seconds in the air, then I'll go with you that there is no God. If you can turn back the time, even for just a minute then there is no God. Excuse me but you are just another passenger on Planet Earth. You cannot redirect it and oh by the way, God is the captain of this ship too.
He owns your life as well, you better believe it. You did not come into this world without any purpose.

You know this question could be turned around very easily. there are so many non believers on here that think we as Christians are weird. To us we have faith and that is believing withour seeing. We have our evidence of God's existence and it is called the Bible. To use the bible is not a bunch of fairy tales but the living breathing word of God.We are asked not to push our believes on others but when asked we get some very rude replys. They talk about the Christain people on here being rude i think they better take a long look at themselves. God Bless

It's no weirder than to believe anything else that some old guys wrote. Some old guy wrote down that atoms have electrons. No one has seen an electron, though. Some old guy wrote that man unltimately started as primordial ooze, I'm not sure why a person would believe that...that is completely weird. Regardless of what you believe, you still are basing your opinions on what people have told you before. People don't generally come up with new theories. They are just recycled.

If one story in the Bible can be proved as fact the would that make any of the Bible less than a fair tail?
Truth is many of the people places and things in the Bible have been proved as fact. Not everything because not everything has been found but that doesn't matter.
See I could say that this item proves the existence of God and you can turn around and say no it doesn't. So I will not get in to that.
I do however understand why many do not believe and it has nothing to do with the Bible or the existence of God. It does have everything to do with many that call themselves Christians. Who with words claim Jesus but with their actions deny him with their life style. That to an unbelieving world they simply find unbelievable.
The real proof of the existence of God won't be found in a dig in some old city in the middle east but in the hearts and actions of those who claim faith in him. When someone claims to be a Christian they are suppose to learn what he did, taught and lived, then model their lives in that manner.
Jesus taught love others, treat others in the manner in which you want to be treated yourself. To love your neighbor as yourself, to love your enemies. To have compassion (concerned passion or concerned love) for others. To become selfless instead of selfish. To be humble in everything and not draw attention to yourself. I like to say to be real.
What would you believe more some facts on a piece of paper or the heartfelt actions of someone that truly lives what they claim to believe. Which one is the real fair tail?
I believe that my actions are what will either condemn me or affirm what I truly believe. Yes I do believe and I do understand why many don't. It is my choice and what you choose is your choice. But that is not enough for me to condemn anyone nor is it my place to do so. Anyone that chooses to condemn you has already condemned themselves.

If you ask anyone a series of questions regarding their faith, belief, and knowledge in things, you will find that most will conclude that they do not believe they cease to exist when they die.
This alone is the reasoning for why one should conclude their is a divine presence. Along the way one eventually should come to know that the Bible is the true Word of God.
An ancient group I shall not name, but an order of Celtic Knights believed that one must come to realize divine presence in their own way through their own experiences. The same should go for believing in any scientific reasoning, one must conclude these things on their own.

Some Christians are brainwashed to a certain extent, and often fail to seriously question the fundamentals of their faith (e.g. they say the "Bible is the Word of God", but cannot adequately defend this position).
To a Christian who struggles with doubt and agnosticism, but has decided to stay faithful to Christ, non-believers do not seem so weird.
Peace and blessing

All I can tell you about is the love that God has poured into my heart. Before I believed in Him to the point of surrendering all of myself to Him, I didn't have that love in my heart. All I can tell you about is the life that I feel inside where I used to feel dead inside before I believed and surrendered. There's a true line of demarcation between my life before I believed and my life after I believed. And that's all I can really tell you about. It's because of that love that I believe the Bible. My relationship with God gets richer every time I read it. He shows me things about Himself that I couldn't know any other way but by the words that are written in the Bible. And that's really all I can tell you.

I'm a Christian and I don't think your weird.
Blinded by Darkness, Lonely, Empty.......
Yes
You can deny all those things outwardly yes but really who cares.
When you are alone with yourself is all that matters.
It is your soul that matters not your outward.
You are loved.
I love you.
you don't believe me.
doesn't change it being true.
Just cause you dont believe the sky is blue doesn't mean it's not.
So again I say I love you.
Your friend,
