DNR--Do Not Resuscitate

It was crazy to ban Geert Wilders - not least because it gave him and his views vastly more publicity than would have happened if he'd just been allowed in as he had been previously. I don't like what he says, but I don't think he was any more likely to provoke violence against Muslims than much that passes for ordinary comment (which I also tend to disagree with). And I agree that banners threatening violence should have been dealt with - the problem comes when dealing with such incitement to violence spills over into action against Muslims who genuinely are expressing a peaceful view, merely because the police/establishment don't like it. There is always that danger. But that is not, of course, an excuse for not being firm about threats of violence.
