Layers are always cute! I would consider investing in a hair straightener, and if that doesn't work, yes, get it thinned. But getting your hair thinned is a big decision, and it takes time to get used to straightener.

Alright, listen, cause I have had the same problem!
I found a GOOD hairstylist, not some newbie at Great Clips. And I had to go for a series of trims, yes, it took a while.
He used a "cutting in" technique that basically trimmed out the split ends while keeping the length. He would only cut about 1/4 inch at most each time, but on an angle so that it still looked the same length. After a few months of having it done regularly, my hair finally started laying right.
Also, for frizz, I really like the Frizz-Eaze products. There are all kinds of styling products from that line that help get a sleeker finish to your hair!

yeah i have a similar proble cept i already cut it short and thinned it but they thin the bottom layers so you cant tell its thinned and you juist have to keep getting it thinned more when it grows out thats what i do and mine is about 2 in shorter than my shoulders. layers are good but they give you hair more volume so wiht it being thick mabye not but talk to your hair dresser shell explain what the thinning is and tell you if layers would work with your hair

layers make it thicker, and dont go with thinning, its a set of scissors with spaces so you dont cuat all the hairs.. so you have hairs at all dif lengths and is a royal pain to grow out. have you talked to your stylist? maybe you need to try a dif stylist? good luck.

I would do long layers. DON'T THIN IT! it will be horrible and frizzy and have short pieces sticking up.

if you cut it in layers ( thats what i did) it makes it full but it gets rid of all the fizzyness and split ends
