iTunes 7 has some new features such as "coverflow" which lets you browse your music library by looking at the CD Cover (which iTunes will download for you if you don't have it) as well as better support for TV Shows (via the online store) and movies.

Some users have been reporting bugs in it, but with the latest release 7.0.1 most have been fixed.

All the music you have in your library now will be in your iTunes 7 library as well (including imported and purchased tracks)

You do not lose your library, playlists, or anything if you download the new version of iTunes7. It is simply an updated and more organized version with different sections for Music, Tv Shows, Movies, Podcasts, Radio, etc.

The main things that are different is the appearance of the program. The layout is different - mainly for the downloads you do - it's catagorized now. And no, you will not lose your songs don't worry.

It's just the newest, updated version, less bugs. Think 'new and improved'.
