I have Internet Explorer6.0 and have completely deleted hard drive, scrubbed it clean and re-installed Windows. When I click to IO it opens and then just closes and stops.
What can be done to fix this? Thank you so much for your input.

I'd Download and Install Internet Explorer 7 off of microsofts page. Go to http://microsoft.com and do a search for IE7. Tell the install to install all updates and run the Malicious Software Removal Tool. That might fix the problem. Also, there are other (also faster if configured correctly) browsers out there like Netscape 8, Firefox 2.0, and Opera 9...

The best way to fix this problem is to use Mozilla Firefox. I stopped using IE a long time ago and have never looked back. Plus, IE 7 is adding features that Firefox has had for a couple of years - so guess which one is innovating?

Because your sophisticated computer can't hold crap like Internet Explorer. Be better, try mozilla firefox
