She is all black with just a dusting of about 10 white hairs on her tummy. A sweet female. Shes really full of energy and playful. Looking for something cute but not anything like midnight or raven or onyx or ebony....lol

Every second black cat is named Midnight! How about naming her Samhain (pronounced sow-win)? This is the ancient Celtic festival that mutated into present day Halloween.

Or Darth, as in Darth Vader. I checked Star Wars universe history, and female sith masters were called "Darth" so that would fit. Or you can cutesy it into Darthette.

Ninja would be good, too, since cats are so stealthy. Or, for that matter, you can dub her Stealth.

Diaz, for the 10 white hairs,
my uncle used to have an all black cat named Whitey as kids we thought it was strange until he got a white cat and named it Blacky after that it was just so funny to call one of them (in front of unsuspecting strangers). Good Luck with the name My calico is named Stella, after my Aunt Stella, because she would always take the homely kitten in the litter, none wanted, as I did.

The best way I've found to name a cat is to just wait and see what comes up and what fits him/her.

I got a cat about 5 years ago that I simply could not think of a name for her. She was a black and white Himalayan mix. One day I was sitting on my sofa watching "Charmed". This cat (kitten at the time) had climbed up on a stool that was infront of the entertainment center and was staring at the TV. When the one character "Piper" would blow things up, this kitten would paw at the screen and meow everytime. She never watched anyother show with me except "Charmed". Needless to say, she was named "Piper". She continued to watch that show with me everytime I watched it and continued the same routine until I got a roommate who was allergic. I found her a good home and she is now a very happy, very fat barn cat.

I have fostered several rescued kitties who needed a names. One would watch football with me (Dallas Cowboys). He was a beautiful solid silver and he was called "Dallas" until the day he was adoped. Another was a gray tabby who thought she could fly and she was named "Amelia" (Earhart). "Amelia's" brother (yellow tabby) was twice her size and was named "Andre" (the Giant). Now one I am currently fostering dodged a bullet with the humane society, he is named "Dodger".

Just wait and see what fits her/him. Trust me, something will.

I named my cat Biko. I named him in honor of Steven Biko the doctor who saved lives in South Africa. Peter Gabrial wrote a song about him. Maybe Bika for a girl.
