I've read it a few times and found it interesting. I liked Vivianne Crowley, Ellen Cannon Reed, the Farrars, and Deborah Lipp. Of course you may be interested in books by Gerald Gardner (since he was the founder of Wicca). Before considering joining a coven or group, I recommend "Covencraft" by Amber K.
If you are looking into Faery Wicca, be careful of authors who are better left in the fictional section, as some authors aren't much on their historical accuracy. For a good article:

I've not read that book, but many advanced Wiccans highly recommend Scott Cunningham's work. I would also suggest you visit http://www.celticwisdom.net/ for Faery Wicca information.
Blessed be

I thought it was pretty good. I recommend "The Magickal Life," by Vivianne Crowley.
