well the hard disk size is 80 gb, but when i choose [1] create primary dos partetion it tells me that i only have 10 gb

It is possible that there are "hidden" partitions using up your space.

I suggest a commercial program like Partition Magic. (It can repartition an "active" drive, and will show even hidden drives.)

Can ALSO use ANY Linux version install disc to show you what drive partitions you have, IF you are careful.

BE SURE TO BACK UP EVERYTHING, including the operating system to another drive or cd/dvd storage BEFORE you start. I suggest an "external" hard drive, which you then disconnect.

u dont have to go throught the hassle of fdisking nemore just put in the windows installer cd and reboot, then boot from the cd. you can partition it yourself just delete the current partitions and create the partitions you want.
