Borley rectory, a detriorating house in Essex has the dubious award of "The Most Haunted House in Britain". It was built in 1862 near River Stour.

HI,
I believe Candewdon and Stanbridge especially the church in canewdon is particularly known for being haunted and surrounding areas as these have recently been viewed on most haunted.

hangman hill is in epping forest, you park at bottom, turn off engine release handbrake and roll up the hill. lol

epping forest is supposed to be spooky - all kinds of tales about the going on's there.
