I was a cocky stud, now I am so lame when it matters most?

Question

I usually pick up when we go out clubbing. I have dated some girls for a while but I tended to enjoy single life/pick up better. Now I have found a girl that is so beauful, smart and kind and I cannot control my thoughts, she is all I think about. From the first moment I saw her I knew she was special. But I don't know how to even approach her. I am so angry at myself because I feel like I am a 13 year old loser. I don't know what to say when I am around her, i don't know how to initiate converstaion with her, and I really don't want to screw it up because of the way I feel about her. I need some advice as to how to slowly establish a relationship with her that can potentially move onto somehthing else. I don't want answers like 'just walk up and ask her out' or 'just do it, what have you got to lose' I am at university and we aren't in the same degree although we share classes. Should I organize for a pub crawl or similar for the the class we share so I can get to know her I need help

hey bro,take it from me.its not easy being a man.stop thinking about the past experiences& how you use to be.like you say,she is different.so you have to be,now,more than ever,like you never was with another lady,that is yourself.

believe me,im in a simular predicament,but my princes has a boyfriend since 7th grade& were doing our first year now.i have respect for her,so i don't have phisical expectations from her,but she knows how i feel about her.what is good is that she feels the same about me,but don't wanna hurt the dude,in fear that he will do something to himself.
thats my own problem.my point is that i try everyday to show her my quality as a person & never try to be fake& in this she sees that i am special&differet to other guys.
support her,be there for her,incourage her with what she wants,so basically,be a true friend,but let her know continually that she is beautiful&special,& about how she makes you feel.

a cool way of approach is through her friend(choose only 1&if its a mutual friend,thats even better),or by greating her everyday &so slowly starting(first small)conversations.your sure to spark something just by being friendly.
